Years later, the MTV Base Hottest MC list is still giving people heart palpitations and while this year everyone pretended like they don't care, they clearly do.  

The list, which is meant to recognise the MC's or rappers that have owned the year in music, projects, presence, bars and a lot of things in between stirred up mixed reactions form rappers and their fans alike.

Since it's inception the list has been known to bring some controversy with it each year.

Anything from fans disputing the order of rappers to why certain people make the list over certain people and this year was worse.

The people that made the list seem not to give a crap about it. Other's have went "whatevs!" and other are ready to fight for their spots.

One of the most common questions being asked by fans is why A-Reece is not on the list.

Then there was the usual, why is this guy higher up on the list than that guy debate.

So far Nasty C, Riky Rick, Anatii and Shane Eagle blueticked the list, A-Reece gave it an 'okay' and Rouge gave a by the way s/o.
