Youtube sensation Caspar Lee, 20, who grew up in Knysna, will make his film debut in Spud 3: Learning to Fly , alongside Joburg-born actor and singer-songwriter Troye Sivan, who once again plays the lead role of Spud Milton.
Sivan and Lee each have more than 2million followers on Twitter, and both have posted YouTube videos that have scored millions of hits.
Film producer Ross Garland said: "Troye Sivan and Caspar Lee's careers are on such a steep trajectory that there has been a big shift even between the Spud3 shoot last year and the release now ."
Spud3 also stars British comedian John Cleese and is full of "wisecracks, gags and big comedy sequences" .
